Mind & Body Detox Retreat

If there were any rules on how to live a healthy lifestyle, we would say that rule number One would be Know Your Body, and rule number Two would be Trust Your Body. At Olive our goal is simply to share our knowledge of how the body and mind work, how they are connected and how when aligned can lead you to better health.

In the end however, we leave it up to you to choose what feels right to you and in what ways you wish to implement, if any, the knowledge you gain. In that sense we merely help you discover and know what healthy means to you, and be it, even if your surrounding world is unsympathetic to your views.

We have helped people with the following:

  • Career and life choices
  • Nutrition and cooking
  • Fitness and exercise
  • Meditation and meditation recovery
  • Yoga and stretching
  • Breathing correctly
  • De-stress and relaxation
  • Anxiety, depression, loneliness, sadness
  • Weight-loss and obesity
  • Food allergies and sensitivities
  • Inflammation, disease and disorders
  • Relationships; getting in and getting out

CHANGE. LIFE. MEANING. NURTURING. HEALTH.

Are you ready to feel healthy?

Olive Retreat guides you to a healthier, more enhanced lifestyle as you dream and define it.

First, you'll learn to define it, which is the most important part of the detox process. All the healthy changes start here. Whether it’s the detoxing food, environments, thoughts and exercises, it all starts by discovering and then minimizing what makes you unhealthy and finding substitutes to make you healthy.

What does healthy mean to you?

You'll learn how the body and mind work, or don’t work, in our hyperactive and toxic society, and how to read your body and mind signals. Ultimately, only you know what's right for you. We support you all the way, including when you return home with our “back home support.” In this way, we can help you better implement your new knowledge in the challenging environment you return to.

Olive Retreat is a top-ranked wellness destination and health retreat dedicated to helping individuals discover what health means to them and applying their newly- discovered health knowledge into the rest of their lives.

I am so lucky to have found you at a time of my greatest need. You have a gift for making people feel welcome.
— Inge
Just about everything here was unforgettable. Thank you for putting us on the right track and changing our lives.
— Nick & Margaret

Enjoy a week of detoxing your body and mind.

Life is short, and in this ever-fading opportunity we have as living, breathing, feeling creatures, nothing is more important in our Olive minds than health, however you wish to define it, and however you wish to pursue it.

For us, health is what we live for, and yet - it's not something we hope to achieve in the future after a short-term and painful sacrifice of pleasure - but an incredible and fulfilling individual life quest that begins now, right here with this personal question: “what does health mean to me?”

I could wax lyrical for hours about the Olive Retreat but suffice it to say I have returned home relaxed, refreshed, and full of ideas of how to stay that way.
— Sandra

When you're ready, we're here for you

We don't believe in accidents or mistakes, largely because if any one of our lives is either, that would mean all those who we touch and are touched by, and all those touched and touched by them, and on and on ad infinitum, would also be a mistake, and that's just too improbable to be true.

So, you've gotten this far in your search. Consider taking the next step and honoring us with your presence, with who you are now and who you are becoming, and open a door you'll never wish to go back on.

Would any other Retreat so gently nurture us towards the absolute certainty that had we found another door in life that - if we chose to walk through it - things would certainly have every chance of getting better?
— Alan

Is Retreat a noun or a verb? Do you read the word as a physical place, or a frantic departure?

In the former case you'd be correct to see Retreat as a restorative destination, and in the latter, a process of saving yourself.

Sometimes flight is our only hope, and when that flight brings us to a group of welcoming souls, whose journeys have been proven to be helpful to those from nearly all walks of life, and all manner of stressors, you'd be right to see Retreat - Olive Retreat - as a reprieve in motion and arrival.
