This paste can be served as a spread on bread or vegetables, and with a dinner as part of the protein base.
- 4 dl precooked beans
- 1-2 cloves of garlic
- Big bunch of fresh coriander or parsley
- Juice from 1 lime or lemon (or even grapefruit is nice)
- 1/2-1 dl of olive oil
- Salt & pepper
- Papaya seeds and chives for decoration
Mix all ingredients in a mixer. Add water if the paste is too thick. Decorate with the papaya seeds, herbs, seeds, chives or other.
Remember from your Olive Retreat classes to mix at least two of the groups beans, grains and rice to get enough amino acids to form enough vegan protein.
I save all papaya seeds and use them in small quantities as they are a bit bitter. At the Olive Retreat health classes you learned that candida infections can cause all sort of health problems.
