Probably the best definition of O·live is that we don’t quite have one, at least in the traditional sense. We are therefore unique in the acknowledgement of our capability to learn and adapt and change. You see, we also started out with yoga and vegan food and exercise and bla bla bla…but after a few years working “clinically” we had to acknowledge that we are all more different than we are similar and when you work with 50 trillion cells in context it can amount to a lot of different. One really just doesn’t fit all. That’s why expertise and science can only go so far, because the gap is the individual expression of life, and this applies as much if not more to mental health. It’s at this point that we knew we had to explore new forms, away from the status quo. We therefore expanded into recognition of subjective bodies in subjective contexts.
This, let us say, “expansivity” into the subtle, derives from our always-increasing knowledge base (we love to study) as well as our increased experience of life (we love to talk about “deep” stuff), combined with the fact that the world is always changing (that includes us). We stopped asking “out” and started asking “in”, but to teach that to someone who since having started the educational and socialization process to stop feeling and - sit still, don’t do that, buy this, like that, and love that one, not this one - we needed a method that is easy and rocket fast, to pick ourselves up to know, yes know, what is healthy and what is not, what is me, and what is not (and who, too). And we found it, our Feel f’ Real method.
Do you really want to become more healthy?
The main reason we love doing what we do 365.4 days of the year is that we live it. We really do walk the talk, and that’s not the case with most retreats or health professionals. For us everything we teach is just the basic stuff, the rest is created in dialogue. It’s like having people over for dinner, figuring things out together. Every person who enters our world brings new learning and we merely have to live to teach and learn, and learn to live. Is this not what evolution is?
We do this because we really do want to become and stay as healthy as we possibly can, under any given set of conditions and regardless of the innovation and madness it introduces into our lives. It’s a very aware and mindful choice to eat as we do, live outdoors as we do year round, ditch the chemical and mental toxic waste, meditate creatively, keep our bodies flexible, be kind to ourselves and others, believe and have faith, learn and try and make mistakes and learn and try again, and integrate it all into our given and precious lives. If that is not spiritual, you tell me what is? For us life is God, in gravitational, calibrational, vibrational ways, and it can appear as a form, at least to us humans.

There is no right or wrong in our methods, only different perspectives, actors, “realities” and observers. The only thing that ultimately matters is how you feel now, and how you want to feel. This doesn’t mean that you won’t consider the feelings of others or the Earth and its variety of life forms. Rather, it is most likely to mean that you get healthy because of those other life forms, in a new, fun, energized caring and honest way.

What does healthy mean to you?
The first and most important part of the process is to define what health(y) means to you, even if at this very moment you have no idea what that is. All the healthy changes start at acknowledging and legitimizing the question itself and then marveling at how intriguing the path becomes when you can respect what makes you feel healthy and minimize what makes you feel unhealthy.
You'll learn how the body and mind work, or don’t work and how to read your body and mind signals, and how to avoid the toxicity that compromises your health (as in the < 100,000 petroleum derived chemicals introduced in the name of progress) (as in, don’t be normal.)
Ultimately, only you know what's right for you. We support you all the way, even with back home support" after your retreat. In this way we can help you better implement your new knowledge by turning any challenging environment into an opportunity you may have previously been unable to imagine. And if you don’t, that’s perfect too. We don't believe in accidents or mistakes, largely because if any one of our lives is either, that would mean all those we touch and are touched by, and all those touched and touched by them, and on and on ad infinitum, would also be a mistake, and that's just too improbable to be true. There is nothing random in evolution. We are particles exhaled from the Big Bang, that probably wasn’t either very big or very bangy. All we know for now is that when we really meditate on it, it gets harder and harder to distinguish between what random and non random would even mean, if anything, as if there’s some mistakes to be picked out of 13.8 billion years of evolution.

What does retreat mean to you?
Is Retreat a noun or a verb? Do you read the word as a physical place, or a frantic departure to something new?
In the former case you'd be correct to see Retreat as a restorative destination, and in the latter, a process of saving yourself.
